Sunair Electronics, LLC announces the availability of two new very high power RF amplifiers for the high frequency band, 1.5 – 30 MHz.

Mark Allen, President of Sunair, said, “ We are pleased to announce the availability of our new LPA-5000 and LPA-10000, 5 and 10 thousand watt solid state RF power amplifiers.  These very high power amplifiers allow our customers to operate truly global HF communications systems when required.  These amplifiers are state of the art designs with all the features and performance one would expect in a world class amplifier product.”

The first LPA-10000 amplifiers are scheduled to be delivered to a government customer in early January 2009 some six weeks from now.  Performance targets have all been achieved. 

The amplifiers support AM, FM, SSB, ISB, CW at full rated power, 100% duty cycle.  The individual RF power decks are “hot swappable” for maintenance purposes.  Both units have full BITE and remote control capability.
